As Principal of Maven Communications, Jessica works closely with clients to integrate the goals of their communications program into the larger business objectives of the company. Together with her team of communication professionals, Jessica creates measurement-focused programs that meet the diverse needs of companies in an ever-changing business environment.
Jessica is skilled in developing and implementing strategic communications programs for corporations, products, and individuals and has knack for identifying and targeting new customer opportunities for established businesses. She has been integral in implementing plans that have created new visibility for services, has worked closely with executives and marketing departments through high stakes acquisitions, and has successfully positioned numerous individuals as thought leaders.
For the last six years she has been on the Board of the Legal Marketing Association, serving as President of the Metro Philadelphia Chapter for the last two years; she is a member of the Board of Governors for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, which is committed to improving access to legal services for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay; and she is a member of the Faculty for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, a nonprofit institute that provides education and management best practices to Pennsylvania attorneys.
Jessica sits on the Advisory Board for the Gift of Life Family House, which is a home for transplant patients and their families who are receiving treatment at one of the Philadelphia area hospitals. In addition, she previously served six years as a Board Member of the Arthritis Foundation, where she was recognized with a “Spirit Award” and a “Quality of Life Public Education Award” for her work to raise awareness and funds for juvenile arthritis.
A Drexel University graduate, Jessica gives back to the University by serving as the professional advisor to the schools’ student-run PR firm, 33rd Street PR, where she helps students craft PR plans for real clients as well as offers professional guidance on working in the industry. She also serves as an external reviewer of graduate portfolio projects for the Department of Culture and Communications at Drexel. In this capacity she works closely with Drexel graduate school professors to ensure students graduating from the program are well prepared for a career in the communications field.
She holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from Drexel University.
