Last week, Maven had the opportunity to attend a PRSA luncheon with award-winning journalist and crisis communications veteran, Jeff Ansell, as the keynote speaker.

His lecture covered crisis communications with a bevy of amusing anecdotes, thought-provoking questions and long list of grievances about how some executives and PR pros handle crises. The worst offender of crisis management being the response, “my comment is I have no comment.”

It takes twenty years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.
