The 142-unit apartment building will be the largest residential development project executed in Lancaster City
Berger, a full-service real estate company, celebrated the groundbreaking for 202 Queen Apartments. Tentatively scheduled for completion in the spring of 2024, the apartment building will reside at 202 North Queen Street, within the heart of historic Lancaster City surrounded by fine dining, boutiques, markets and more. Berger Development, teamed with Benchmark Construction and BartonPartners, will develop the 12-story apartment building and create the largest residential development project to date in Lancaster.
Featuring 142 apartments across 135,000 square feet, there will be five studio apartments (500 square feet), 121 one-bedroom apartments (700 square feet) and 16 two-bedroom apartments (950 square feet). Additionally, a retail tenant will occupy 2,800 square feet of the first-floor; Berger plans to announce the business fall 2023.

Apartment amenities will include an upscale fitness center, luxurious lounge areas, work from home and roof top deck spaces, and garage parking. All apartments will be pet-friendly and the building will also include a pet wash station. Additionally, tenants will receive Berger Communities suite of flexibility including accommodating leases, smart home technology, and relocation transfers, and more.
