The Strategy

Maven identified three core opportunities to position Pennrose as a vocal industry advocate during the pandemic: Pennrose’s COVID-19 resident relief fund, localized resident impact stories throughout the Pennrose portfolio, and executive positioning on current market conditions and future of the industry.

In addition to media relations, Maven amplified Pennrose’s voice and the extraordinary examples of employee dedication via video storytelling, the Pennrose blog and social media.

The Results

Within a few weeks, Maven secured more than 10 COVID-19 media placements and during a time much of the industry remained silent, Pennrose retained more than 50% share of voice compared to its top competitors. From The Philadelphia Inquirer to Affordable Housing Finance, the coverage spanned local, regional and industry publications resulting in more than 7.7 million in total readership.
