Maven is Full of Gratitude this Holiday Season

The holiday season presents a wonderful opportunity for reflection. Reflection on personal growth, professional achievement, maybe lingering thoughts of what we could have done differently, lessons learned, and so on. Most importantly, the holiday season is an opportune time to reflect on what we are most grateful for. We asked each Maven to share what they’re grateful for this year.

Rebecca Devine

I’m grateful to work with such an incredible team. It’s our people that enable me to continue to do the work I love with our clients. We have had the good fortune to work with smart, talented, and intellectually curious people these past 17 years, and I continue to learn from them every day.

Jessica Sharp

Like Rebecca, I’m endlessly grateful for our Maven family! What a joy to work alongside brilliant and kind humans every day. I still love what I do every day because of the amazing people I get to do it with.

Veronica Mikitka Reed

There are many things I’ve been grateful for in 2023. To name a few:

  • My colleagues who work so hard to ensure we are sharing our client’s messages and amazing work.
  • My clients who are top notch.
  • Jess and Rebecca for being supportive owners and make working at Maven a joy.
  • My family (who are always ready to help, especially when one of my kids is sick during the week).
  • My husband as we celebrated our 10-year anniversary.
  • My kids for always bringing what matters the most to the forefront.

Emily Kanter

This year has taught me how to slow down and the importance of (kindly) saying no. I’m grateful for my supportive and loving family and friends, and the wonderful people who I have the pleasure of working with at Maven.

Emily White

I’m grateful and excited for my first “married” holiday season with my husband  – I’m also especially thankful to have survived wedding planning!

Amanda Piccirilli-Hall

This year I am extremely grateful for our little family of four. Brock has been the perfect addition and I love being able to sit back and witness the joy of being a boy mom (my two boys, my husband and two boy dogs). My heart is so full.

Tom McParland

This year marks the first holiday season we will celebrate as a full family, after my wife and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl in July. I am moved with gratitude for our daughter, the joy she has brought us and the promise of many wonderful years ahead.

Joey Niedziejko

I am very grateful for my best friend and fiancé; she is the sweetest and kindest person I know. I’m also grateful for my family and friends, I feel like having a strong support system can go a long way in life and they are always there for me when I need them.

Carly Bianco

Each year, I’m grateful for another opportunity to learn something new, but most importantly, for those closest to me. The endless support from my partner, parents, friends and colleagues helps me to grow and succeed both personally and professionally, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

Abby Stryker

I’m grateful for all the kittens I had the privilege of fostering this year (I think there were 9). Each kitten taught me how to be a little bit more patient and has shown me how far a little bit of love and care can go. Every kitten holds a special place in my heart, and I’m grateful to those who opened their hearts and homes as well through adoption.

Whether big or small, we hope you find gratitude in something, or many things, this holiday season.

With gratitude for you,

Your Friends at Maven
