America 250 launches Constitution Quiz in celebration of Constitution Week, a fun virtual educational experience for Americans across the country to test their knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.
The quiz is one of the first programs created by Maven client, the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, a federal body tasked with planning the commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary of American independence.
The Quiz is split into two separate quizzes based on a user’s age:
- One quiz with five questions for users younger than 13
- Another quiz with 15 questions for users 13 and up
Americans can expect to be asked a variety of questions regarding the United States Constitution and the Constitutional Convention that produced the document.
After completing the quiz, those 13 and older will also be able to see how they compare to their fellow Americans via a virtual leaderboard and share their scores on social media using the hashtag #A250ConstitutionQuiz
“The America 250 Constitution Quiz is one of many programs we’ll be launching over the next six years to inspire nationwide engagement in the largest and most inclusive celebration in our nation’s history – our nation’s 250th Anniversary,” said Dan DiLella, Chairman of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission. “The Constitution provides the foundation for understanding how our democratic republic works, and this quiz is a fun way for people of all ages to test their knowledge and learn more about our founding principles.”
