The Laurel Rittenhouse Square is Now 50 Percent Complete

Twenty-six of Laurel Rittenhouse Square’s 48 floors are complete, and when it’s done this will be the tallest all-residential tower in Philadelphia.

Pricing starts at $2.5 million and goes to $25 million.

Southern Land Company has announced that The Laurel surpassed the 50 percent construction milestone. The ultra-luxury tower now rises above the 26th floor, which will be home to the full-floor amenities space.  With the amenities floor complete, interior construction has begun on the 64 ultra-luxury condominiums, which will occupy floors 27-48.

Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the soaring 48-story tower overlooking Philadelphia’s famed Rittenhouse Square is the tallest all residential tower in Philadelphia. Each floor plan features expansive corner residences, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the City and the park.

“We are thrilled to begin construction on the residences, which will be unmatched in terms views, layout, service and design,” said Brian Emmons, Development Director at Southern Land Company. “Our goal is to provide a living experience unlike anything else in Philadelphia, and today we are one step closer to delivering on that vision.”

The Laurel will also feature 44,000 square feet of high-end retail space on the first three floors wrapping around Walnut, Sansom, and 20th Streets. This space will include Philadelphia’s first Equinox Fitness, the global leader in lifestyle fitness and performance.   Once completed in 2022, the project will include 64 condominiums and 189 apartments.

Residents of The Laurel will enjoy white glove amenities, including valet parking; an indoor pool and hot tub; a five-star fitness center with a luxury locker room, steam room, and sauna; a yoga and cycling room; a Club Room with bar and catering kitchen and terrace overlooking Rittenhouse Square; a conference room; and even a dog spa. Residents can also take advantage of the rental suite for out-of-town guests as well as a luxury car service.

To meet even the most discerning owner’s travel needs, The Laurel previously announced its partnership with Wheels Up, a revolutionary membership-based private aviation company. Residents of The Laurel will have access to a members-only fleet of close to 100 aircraft and a network of 1,000+ Wheels Up-approved partner aircraft.

The Laurel will offer residences with prices starting around $2.5 million. Full-floor penthouses are also available.

With 35 percent of units already sold, Southern Land Company is looking forward to meeting with interested parties about remaining units at their sales center at 1845 Walnut Street.
