The Challenge
Skanska, a global construction company, has specialized expertise delivering high quality healthcare facilities that help meet growing community demand. When Skanska completed a brand-new hospital for Inspira Health in Mullica Hill using an innovative delivery model called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), they wanted to highlight the process and Skanska’s role in leading innovation in healthcare construction.
Strategy
Maven worked closely with Skanska and its project partners to tell a multifaceted story about the process across digital and earned media platforms. We positioned Skanska’s lead project executive as a subject matter expert on IPD and trends in healthcare construction. We created a “best practices” case study highlighting project challenges and solutions, along with a series of byline article ideas to share with construction and healthcare trade publications.
Results
The hospital – and Skanska’s development and delivery process – received national attention as a case study in how to successfully develop healthcare facilities using IPD. In three months, Maven secured five feature stories on Skanska’s role in developing Inspira Health Mullica Hill in leading regional and national trade publications. Coverage included byline articles authored by Skanska in Healthcare Design and Construction Today, along with feature stories in ENR New York and Construction Dive, a leading national construction trade publication.
