Maven developed and executed a comprehensive internal marketing program with an emphasis on educating junior-level staff on the importance of marketing themselves as a way to drive business. Marketing plan initiatives included bi-monthly 'marketing tip' emails with 'bite-size' action items, quarterly one-hour education sessions that covered a specific marketing topic in-depth, and individual meetings with junior-level staff to devise a personal marketing plan for business development. All initiatives were tailored to help junior-level attorneys successfully target their audience as well as increase exposure for both the attorney and firm.
The success of the internal marketing campaign was evident through an increase in attorney participation in networking and association events, an increase in bylined article placements in regional and trade publications, high click-through rates for all marketing tip emails and consistent attendance at all educational sessions. Feedback on the firm's internal communications platform was consistently positive among the firm's partners.
